Today is the boys last day of school for 2010! A two week break will do all of us some good. Braxton and Peyton are both having PJ day at school but neither of them will wear PJ's. Makes me sad that they have outgrown this. Peyton said he doesn't have any pj's because he sleeps in his underwear. I think he even asked his teacher if he could just wear underwear to school! Braxton was going to wear his pj's and then decided it might be a little too embarrassing!

So I am making cinnamon rolls for Braxton's class and then coming home and cooking and cleaning to get ready for a weekend full of parties. I am determined to not stress myself out this year and to enjoy friends and family and remember why we are celebrating!

Here is an old family picture in our pj's since I don't have a current one!

Braxton is 10!

Braxton I can not even wrap my head around the fact that you are 10 years old! I was supposed to be induced on Dec. 13, 2000 but there was a bad ice storm and we had to wait until Dec. 15th. You were a very big baby weighing in at 9 lb 4 oz! I stayed awake all night the night you were born just starring at you. I couldn't believe you were mine and I couldn't believe how cute you were. God has blessed me and your daddy by making us your parents. You are so smart and you have such a big heart for others. We love you so much and we are so proud of you! Happy Birthday Braxton you are now in the double digits!

1st time parents!
Your 2nd Christmas

You used to ride this bike all dressed up in our back yard, it was SO funny!
You playing golf at First Tee.
You used to love to play dress up and it didn't matter if you had out grown it!

My proudest days were when you were saved and then got baptized, the most important decision you will ever make!

Big Birthday Sleepover

All Braxton wanted to do for his birthday was have all his friends stay the night and have a weenie roast.
So Dad got some fire wood and some chairs, and built them a fire!
Extra wood
Camping cookie cake!
One sweet 10 year old boy!
And all his friends! (except Noah who was a little under the weather, but he was missed)
Braxton read all his cards out loud, so Braxton!
Everyone wanted to see!
Grandparents and aunts and uncles came to eat a little dinner and some cake!
Uncle Vern & Aunt G got him this book and he loves it!
He got this cozy blanket from Clayton and LOVES it!
They were SO good! They had 3 gaming systems going in 3 different rooms!
They broke into teams and played "army"!
They slept a little, I didn't hear much out of them after 11:30.
Sleeping beauty! (Hunter)
They woke up to Daddy making some homemade pancakes!

I had so much fun just listening and observing these boys. They are so funny, they stink (my house smelt like a boys locker room), they are polite, and they really are all sweet! I would have them all back any time!
