Stylin' new haircuts

The boys went to see Aunt Amber this week for a fresh new haircut!

At first Easton didn't want his haircut, but he played with my phone (imagine that) and did pretty good.

Peyton always thinks it takes too long.....the only thing too long was this faux hawk he had going on.

This one was the dramatic change. We have had his hair long since he was 3 and today we cut it all off. We keep thinking he is Peyton, we have to take a 2nd look.

All three boys with faux hawks. Braxton loves his new hair!

Technology

This child amazes me. He can navigate on my iPhone and play games and he wants to play with my phone all the time! I think he is forming an alarming addiction to cell phones at the age of 2.5! I don't understand how he can be so smart but when I ask him if he wants to use the potty he says "no, I'm too big". The other boys potty trained so easy at 2.5, but it was their idea and it was so easy. So I will not push and we will just keep talking about it and one day I guess it will just click. I just hope it is sooner rather than later!

Easton and Peyton have a love-hate relationship. They are either fighting or loving on each other and there doesn't seem to be much in between these days. So when they are loving I am pulling out my camera!

Breaking in a Christmas present

I have a few posts today so keep scrolling down.

The boys got new bows for Christmas and I guess they just remembered they had them, so after the rain storm today they talked their dad into letting them shoot them.

Peyton wanted to pose in front of this shot!

Tiger is so oblivious to his surroundings. Here he is asleep on the middle of the pool cover!

Braxton's shot!

Lazy day today. The power went out and scared us all to death it was the biggest pop of thunder. Almost didn't get to blow dry my hair, that would have been scary! James went to church and I stayed home with the boys. It was DNOW weekend and they had 30 baptisms this morning! That just makes my heart smile! I really missed having kids at our house so I may have to break down and do it next year. James and Peyton helped with the recreation part yesterday and Peyton wanted to know if he could bring some of those teenagers home with him! He loves him some teenagers! :) He is already begging me to have some at our house next year. I hope everyone has a wonderful week!

Fun and lazy weekend

On Friday Peyton got checked out of school early and went to Fayetteville with James and Papaw Cleve to watch the Hogs play some baseball. Peyton was so excited and to top it off he got his glove signed by 4 players. He just knows this is his lucky glove now! This is him with Brett Eibner who was starting pitcher for this game. The Hogs won!

On Saturday mom got the family together to welcome my Uncle Dennis Perryman home from his service time in Guantanamo Bay Cuba. It was hard not having Roger there, but it was really good for us all to be together. Easton even helped with clean up!

Braxton passed out from some sleep deprevation brought on by a sleepover with friends and maybe a muscle relaxer for some neck pain.

The other two did one of their favorite things at Memaw's and that is take a bubble bath in the "big" tub!

They watched a little of the Olympics.

Welcome home Uncle Dennis and thank you for your service to our country!

Oh yea and they made us all ride the zip-line too. It took mom about 10 minutes to get the nerve to actually take off, but then she loved it!

It scared me so I can say I have been there done that and won't do it again!

Bryce Ray was scared at first, but then decided he loved it!

Part of the gang out watching the zip line riders.

Easton was fishing in the creek with his net.

Mom, me and my Aunt Sharon (who was too scared to ride the zip line, chicken).

Maddie and Hunter rode the zip line at dark so I didn't get their pictures, but they were doing it via spot light, more scary! We had a nice evening. Lisa and the boys came and ate with us too and we enjoyed their company!
